Macallè Blues Festival: history...

Macallè Blues Festival was born, as a gamble between a bunch of friends, at the beginning of summer of 1993 in Castelceriolo, a foggy outskirts of Alessandria. Shortly afterwards, its first edition's programming took shape and during the mounth of October of the same year, with the lucky performance of Guido Toffoletti's Blues Society, the festival officially started off. Since then, the festival got to its international opening including, in the following programmings, an increasing number of american artists, even some as international scoop (Mighty Sam McClain, Lowell Fulson, Terry Evans, Toni Lynn Washington, Mem Shannon, Eddie Bo, Tad Robinson....), while others were touring Italy for the first time, playing at Macallè Blues Festival first (W.C. Clark, Jimmy D. Lane, Roscoe Chenier, Sean Carney, Studebaker John & the Hawks, John Németh, Carlos del Junco....).

Here it is the festival's editions brochure collection.
