Why Macallè Blues...
Macallè Blues was born following both the wish and the will to save from a sure destiny of forgetfulness the memory of what was the Macallè Blues Festival, review that, for seventeen straight years has taken place at Macallè Theatre in Castelceriolo (Italy) and, for its last edition, in the Palazzo Cuttica's courtyard in Alessandria (Italy), so to say, under false pretences.
Considering that it's not my wish to do a mere or, worse, a vacuous commemoration, over and more than with the history of the festival, I have enriched the site with critiques and various informations concerning blues, soul, R&B and all the relatives in between, trying to give to its visitors a reason to get back to visit it and to periodically read it.
I hope to have reached and dignifiedly maintained the goal.
